Story

Stranded on a blockaded Eriadu, four individuals with little reason to trust one another are forced into an uneasy alliance as they search for a way off-world. But in the occupied city of Bri-Phrang, every path to freedom seems to lead deeper into a growing conspiracy—and toward something the ORS is determined to keep buried.

Blending high-stakes thriller tension with sci-fi mystery, dramatic character work, and elements of the Force, The Silent Eclipse explores isolation, resilience, and the cost of survival under occupation.

Characters

Exa Aviva

Exa Aviva

Force-sensitive Zabrak

A Force-sensitive Zabrak with a complicated past, Exa has spent months stranded on Eriadu with one goal: getting off the planet. Intelligent, guarded, and increasingly hardened by circumstance, she is far more capable than she initially lets on. Beneath the cynicism is someone still trying to determine what kind of person she wants to become after everything that shaped her. Her history reaches much further back than Eriadu, beginning with the powerful and deeply troubled House Aviva of Iridonia.

Val Dara

Val Dara

Mandalorian

A young Mandalorian who arrives on Eriadu after the destruction of his ship, Val is one of the few surviving members of a mission that went disastrously wrong. Detached, disciplined, and slow to trust, he is determined to discover whether one of his missing crewmates survived. What begins as a search gradually pulls him into the larger conflict unfolding across Bri-Phrang.

Pip

Pip

Rebellious Jawa

A stranded Jawa separated from her family, Pip is abrasive, opportunistic, and almost impossible to predict—but considerably more loyal than she would ever admit. Equipped with a crude mechanical arm and a malfunctioning translator, she survives through ingenuity, petty crime, and an impressive willingness to involve herself in things that absolutely do not concern her. Her primary goal is simple: survive Eriadu long enough to find her way home.

J3-W1

J3-W1

Ancient Combat Droid

J3-W1 is a battered combat droid with excellent manners, considerable firepower, and very little idea of how he arrived on Eriadu. His memories are incomplete, leaving him with only fragments of who he may have belonged to—or what he may once have been designed to do. Despite his intimidating construction, J3 is often the most polite member of the group, and his search for answers gradually becomes just as important as their search for escape.

Major Brynnad

Major Brynnad

ORS Authority

The face of ORS authority in Bri-Phrang, Major Brynnad maintains control through fear, spectacle, and an uncompromising belief in order. Public punishment is as much a message as it is a sentence, and beneath the regime’s promises of security lies a city increasingly shaped by intimidation, corruption, and uneasy alliances. Whether Brynnad truly controls Bri-Phrang—or is simply the most visible player in a much larger struggle—remains less certain.

Verne

Verne

ORS Officer

An ORS officer who still seems to believe in the institution he serves, Verne is earnest, ambitious, and eager to prove himself. Though many in Bri-Phrang view his uniform with immediate distrust, he sees the ORS as a source of order and protection—and himself as someone capable of doing good from within it. His growing interest in “Marge” gives Exa an unexpected connection to the very organization she is trying to understand.

Weyland

Weyland

Bith Shopkeeper

A Bith shopkeeper with considerably more awareness of Bri-Phrang’s politics than his profession might suggest, Weyland provides Exa with both employment and a place to stay. Observant, cautious, and difficult to read, he has little affection for the ORS and appears to maintain connections of his own throughout the city. His willingness to shelter the group makes him an invaluable ally—though Val is far less convinced that Weyland’s hospitality comes without an agenda.

Z

Z

Criminal Underworld

A scarred young man with ties to Bri-Phrang’s criminal underworld, Z seems to know far more about the city’s shifting alliances than he initially lets on. Quick-witted, elusive, and frustratingly difficult to pin down, he has a habit of appearing exactly where he shouldn’t—and disappearing just as quickly. His connection to Axu Gillic places him uncomfortably close to the conflict surrounding the group, though exactly what he wants from any of it remains unclear.

Rhugo

Rhugo

Masked Fixer

A masked fixer operating within Axu Gillic’s network, Rhugo is quiet, efficient, and considerably more dangerous than his understated demeanor suggests. He tends to appear only when there is a job to deliver or a problem to resolve, offering little explanation beyond what is absolutely necessary. His scarred appearance and reputation within the underworld make one thing clear: when Rhugo shows up, whatever comes next is unlikely to be simple.

Episodes

Episode One: “Eriadu”

Introduces Exa, Val, Pip, and J3-W1 against the backdrop of the ORS occupation and the blockade surrounding the planet.

World

The ORS Occupation

Much of Eriadu now exists beneath the expanding authority of the ORS, whose presence has brought military patrols, surveillance, corruption, and increasingly aggressive control over the local population. Officially, the occupation promises order. In practice, the people living beneath it experience something considerably more complicated.

The ORS has entrenched itself deeply enough that simply leaving the planet is no longer a matter of purchasing passage. Escape means navigating checkpoints, criminal networks, political interests, and an occupying force that has little incentive to loosen its grip.

Bri-Phrang

Bri-Phrang is a city caught between powers that all believe they should control it.

The ORS maintains official authority, but its reach competes with criminal organizations, smugglers, local gangs, corrupt officials, and figures such as Axu Gillic and the Smog Reavers, each pursuing their own interests in the instability. Weapons, credits, information, and access off-world have become currencies nearly as valuable as one another.

For the four central characters, Bri-Phrang initially represents shelter. Before long, it becomes the center of a conflict they can no longer avoid.

Production

The Silent Eclipse is an independent animated series produced through Gusher Productions in collaboration with Designated Goblin.

Founded in Nashville, TN, Gusher Productions began as an independent filmmaking collective focused on bringing together young filmmakers, performers, and artists to create ambitious projects outside the traditional studio system. The Silent Eclipse expands that philosophy into long-form animation, combining filmmaking, voice performance, digital production, and tabletop storytelling to adapt an ongoing campaign into a serialized narrative.

Designated Goblin brings the original campaign world and collaborative storytelling foundation behind the series, preserving the characters, relationships, and major story outcomes that developed naturally through play while allowing the adaptation to reshape their journey for television.

The project is being created by a small independent team, with production spanning writing, voice performance, animation, editing, sound, and original visual development.

Currently in Development

The Silent Eclipse is currently in active development, with Season One being adapted and produced as an independent animated series. Episode One, “Eriadu,” introduces Exa, Val, Pip, and J3-W1 against the backdrop of the ORS occupation and the blockade surrounding the planet.

Because the series is being produced independently, episodes are being developed with production scope and animation time in mind rather than a traditional television release schedule. Additional information regarding episode releases, casting, production updates, and eventual distribution will be announced as development progresses.
